LiresCa is a rural tourism accommodation project in the heart of the Coast of Death.

It is located in the village of Lires, on the Camino de Santiago on the pilgrim route Fisterra – Muxía.

It is a nineteenth century house that has been restored under the premise of preserving the charm of the traditional architecture of the Galician villages. LiresCa was born as an innovative project in the tourist sector and it features a dynamisation area  which promotes the patrimonial value of the zone and the consumption of local fish.

This project was funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (2014-2020 FEMP), with funding granted under the Community-Lead Local Development Strategies approved by the Ministry of the Sea of the Xunta de Galicia for the Local Action Group for the Fishing Sector “Seo Fisterra Ría de Muros-Noia”.

This company is beneficiary of a grant from the financing fund for economic and social reactivation promoted by the Provincial Council of A Coruña and the City Council of Cee (2020). Company benefiting from a grant from the Xunta de Galicia, line TU503C. Amount: 4727,88 euros.

Beneficiary company under the REACT-EU axis of the Feder Galicia 2014-2020 operational program, with the aim of favoring the repair of the crisis in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and with the result of boosting Galicia as a tourist destination.
